Putin identifies 3 traits for Trump to help him fight Corona
Russian President Vladimir Putin wished a speedy recovery to US President Donald Trump in a message Friday, saying that he was confident that the “vitality” of the US President would help him fight the emerging corona virus.
The Kremlin quoted Putin as saying in the message, "I am convinced that your vitality, optimism and high spirits will help you confront this dangerous virus."
The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, had previously wished Trump "a full and speedy recovery."
Peskov said that Putin is studying whether he will receive the vaccine against the emerging corona virus, after Russia announced in August that it had developed a vaccine called "Sputnik V", in honor of the historic satellite that dates back to the Soviet era.
"When he does that, we will announce the matter," he added.
And Russia announced the development of the first vaccine for the Corona virus in the world, although it is still under large-scale clinical trials, and it raises doubts in the world.
A number of prominent personalities announced the receipt of the vaccine, including Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
In a speech to the United Nations last month, Putin offered to inoculate the world body's workers for free.
He said earlier that one of his daughters had received the vaccine.
