Shortly before midnight, individuals are suspected of having fired in the direction of a man, who was driving home.

The suspects then fled, firing several times to avoid being chased.

There were no injuries.

The investigations were entrusted to the police officers of the SRPJ of Montpellier (Hérault).

In addition, the Nîmes prosecutor indicates that the victim had an electronic bracelet, which she is suspected of not having respected.

His imprisonment was requested by the prosecution to the judge responsible for the application of sentences.

Settling of scores

For several months, certain districts of Nîmes have been the prey of settling of scores, in particular Pissevin.

Last February, residents of this neighborhood appealed to the authorities for help, asking to stop this scourge.

Recently, the interregional director of the judicial police, Eric Arella, told AFP that the phenomenon of settling scores against a background of narco-bandistime, which is on the decline in the Marseille region, was on the other hand increasing this year at Nîmes, in particular, or Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales).
