“Today in Belarus, vaccination of volunteers begins in the framework of a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study of the Sputnik V vaccine, created on the platform of human adenoviral vectors,” the message says.

It is also specified that more than 4 thousand Belarusians have expressed a desire to become volunteers for receiving a vaccine against coronavirus.

Earlier, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that research on the Sputnik V vaccine in Belarus began earlier than planned.
