Naka conflict escalates President of Azerbaijan: Armenian withdrawal from Naka region is the only condition for ceasefire

On the 30th local time, the armed conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the Nagorno-Karabakh region entered the fourth day.

Azerbaijani President Aliyev expressed his views on the ceasefire that day.

Aliyev emphasized that the negotiations between the two countries on the Naka region have been fruitless, so there is no need for dialogue.

Aliyev said that the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the Naka region is the only condition for Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan will cease fire only if this condition is met.

At the same time, Aliyev said that Azerbaijan can complete combat missions independently without the help of foreign military forces.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced that it would continue its offensive in the Naka region.

The Afghan army encircled a part of the Armenian armed forces in the northern part of the Karabakh region, and planned to completely annihilate the runner-up troops and destroy the command post of the 41st Independent Regiment of the 18th Armenian Motorized Division.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan accused the Armenian army of using Dot-U tactical missiles in the conflict.

In this regard, the Armenian military denied this.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense stated that the Armenian use of Dot-U missiles disseminated by the Azerbaijani media does not match reality. If the Armenian side continues to spread similar information, Armenia will respond severely.

According to statistics from the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the country’s army has killed more than 130 Azerbaijani soldiers, destroyed 29 tanks and armored vehicles, and 11 drones during the conflict.

The Naka region is located in southwestern Azerbaijan, covering an area of 4,400 square kilometers. It was an autonomous prefecture of Azerbaijan during the Soviet period, and most of its residents were Armenians.

In 1988, Naka demanded to be incorporated into Armenia, which led to an armed conflict between the Afghan and Asian ethnic groups in the state.

After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Azerbaijan and Armenia broke out in a war for Naqqa, and Armenia took control of Nakka and its surrounding parts of Azerbaijan.

Beginning on the 27th of this month, a new round of armed conflict broke out between the two countries.
