To increase capacity in Bredbyn after the large river village fire, Polarbröd has decided to hire eighteen people in the Ångermanland factory.
And it turned out that 40 fired bakery workers applied for the eighteen jobs.
Impressed with the interest
Polarbröd's CEO Anders E Johansson is impressed by the great interest in the bakery job.
- It is great fun that so many wanted to work in Bredbyn.
It is still just over 400 km there and only the distance is a big challenge, but we will do what we can to make it easier for those who will work there.
It is important for us as a company to expand production in Bredbyn.
"A little adventure"
At the end of next week, the Älvsby workers will start working in Bredbyn and they will have a four-week trial period to feel for.
- I hope they can see this as a fun thing and a little adventure in itself, says Anders E Johansson.
