01 October 2020There are seventeen Covid-19 positives in two classes of the Bertrand Russell high school in Rome.

A few days ago a student's family reported that their son was positive for a swab.

The class, a fifth, was quarantined with the teachers.

Two classes and their educators from the Pascoli preschool in Rho, near Milan, were quarantined after a child with a high fever during the weekend tested positive for a swab.

This was announced by the Municipality, which immediately triggered the procedure put in place by ATS which communicated the names of the subjects obliged to quarantine who will be subjected to a swab.

Other children and their educators will be able to continue attending school having not had contact with the pupil who tested positive.

In any case, the school proceeded to preventively clean and sanitize all the premises.

"The first case of Covid-19 positivity occurred in a school also in Rho, resulting in the quarantine of two classes - says Mayor Pietro Romano -. Unfortunately this is a situation we will have to live with. in the coming months considering that the virus is still circulating and that since September the number of infections has increased, albeit less consistently than at the beginning of the pandemic ".

“From the beginning of the pandemic to today, continues the Mayor, 521 cases of positive subjects have been ascertained in Rho.

Of these 85 people have died.

Another 555 are in preventive quarantine for "close contacts" with positive people.

Currently, 4 people are hospitalized, 44 those with the obligation to quarantine at home.

“About 70 - concludes the mayor - are the suspected cases awaiting the outcome of the swab.

Finally, 55 people are in fiduciary quarantine again for "close contacts" with positive cases ”.

Same result for the girl who attends a nursery school in Borgonovo Valtidone, in the province of Piacenza.

The public health service of the Usl Company contacted the Covid contact of the structure, who sent the list of close school contacts.

Seven children and a teacher have to swab and are already in quarantine.

All negative, however, the swabs in the high school of Castel San Giovanni where the protocol was taken for a girl who had attended school violating the obligation of isolation.

It is the fifth Covid case in the municipality of Calabria.

On the Facebook page of the municipality, the public hygiene department of the ASP said that the doctor is fine and is already in home isolation.
