A fifty-year-old was sentenced Wednesday before the Criminal Court of Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales) to one year in prison, with a probationary suspension, for "aggravated voyeurism", for having concealed a camera in the apartment he rented on Airbnb, reports France Bleu Roussillon.

The man was also registered on the file of sex offenders and will have to follow compulsory care.

In 2019, a couple lodged a complaint after discovering a Go Pro, hidden in the ventilation grille in the bathroom.

On the computer and hard drives belonging to the 50-year-old, investigators had found videos of tenants in the apartment.
