Terrible discovery for a farmer in the Vosges, near Epinal.

The latter had a 24-year-old mare in boarding school but he found the dead animal, probably mutilated in the night from Saturday to Sunday, reports the daily

.

The mare lived a peaceful retreat in a park before being found under a tree, dead, an object of several centimeters inserted in the vagina.

A vet was called.

The latter told our colleagues that "the lesions are not easily understandable and not at all usual".

The animal's death may not have been directly linked to the abuse, the mare could have been the victim of panic fear.

For the moment, it is difficult to know if this attack is directly linked to those which are happening all over France in recent times.

In the meantime, the owner has filed a complaint.
