Belgium, one of the European countries most bereaved by the coronavirus pandemic, crossed the 10,000 dead mark on Wednesday, according to figures from the public health institute Sciensano.

This country of about 11.5 million inhabitants recorded 10,001 deaths, or 14 more in the last 24 hours, and 117,115 positive cases in total, against 115,353 the day before, according to the daily report of Sciensano.
