The second emergency employment security subsidy, which is 500,000 won per person, was paid to more than 455,000 people to special employment workers and freelancers suffering from the Corona 19 crisis.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced the day before that the subsidy was paid to 455,000, 98.2% of the 46,3859 people who were eligible for the second emergency employment security support payment.

The payment amount is KRW 227.8 billion.

Special advisors and freelancers who received this support fund are those who received the first emergency employment security support fund paid by the Ministry of Labor in July.

The Ministry of Labor has determined who is eligible for payment, excluding employment insurance subscribers, among approximately 500,000 recipients of the primary support.

On the 12th to 23rd of the following month, the Ministry of Labor accepts applications for the second subsidy for freelancers who have not received the first subsidy.

They must meet certain requirements, such as last year's annual income (based on taxable income) of 50 million won or less, and their August or September this year's income decreased by 25% or more from the comparison period.
