The Ras Al Khaimah Police Youth Council held a remote workshop entitled “The Danger of Spreading Rumors”, with the aim of building a dialogue between youth, protecting them and immunizing them against negative phenomena, in implementation of the objectives of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy aimed at supporting and empowering youth.
The lecturer, Captain Dr. Ali Muhammad Akash, defined the concept of the rumor as the unproven news, which is the inaccuracy of the publication that disturbs the public atmosphere, stressing the role of youth in confronting rumors by increasing cultural and cognitive awareness and a logical and rational way of thinking and following the rules of moral behavior, general principles and the ideals of society to eliminate Rumors.
