North Korea holds a Politburo meeting to discuss epidemic prevention work
According to KCNA reports, the 18th Politburo meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea was held on the 29th at the headquarters building of the Party Central Committee.
Kim Jong-un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, attended and presided over the meeting.
According to the report, the meeting pointed out some shortcomings in the prevention and control of the spread of the new crown virus, and discussed in depth the issue of further strict implementation of the national emergency epidemic prevention work.
After the meeting made a report on the global spread of the new crown virus, it was emphasized that the epidemic prevention department should be vigilant for complacency and laxity, adhere to the implementation of epidemic prevention measures, and adhere to the steel-like epidemic prevention system.
In addition, the meeting also discussed issues related to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea and post-disaster reconstruction.
