As of press time, no news of disasters or casualties has been reported.

  According to reports from Taiwanese media such as the Central News Agency, United News Network, and China Times News, the first earthquake occurred on the 29th at 3:05 am, with a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale and a focal depth of 10.9 kilometers; the second earthquake occurred at 4. At 50 minutes, the scale was 5.3 on the Richter scale and the focal depth was 9.9 kilometers.

China Earthquake Networks determined that the earthquake was 5.0 and the focal depth was 13 kilometers.

  At 5:39, 6:17, 6:35, 8:34, 9:14, 13:07, the Richter scale 3.8, 3.9, 3.7, 3.5, 5.0 and 4.0 earthquake.

The focal depth is mostly between 9 and 11 kilometers.

  According to the analysis by the Meteorological Department of Taiwan, the occurrence of the above-mentioned earthquake is inferred to be related to the release of energy from the accretionary rock mass above the Manila Subduction Zone. It is not ruled out that aftershocks of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale will occur again in the next week.
