The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, confirmed the handover of the first phase of the “Bateen Al Samar” residential neighborhood in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, at the end of this year.

The overall completion rate of the project is 94%, and 888 houses are expected to be delivered by the end of this year.

The Minister inspected the progress of work on the project, yesterday, and the most important road and infrastructure projects in the emirate.

During his field visit to the residential neighborhood, which is one of the largest neighborhoods for residential programs in terms of urban sprawl and number of housing units, he stressed that the stability and happiness of citizens are at the forefront of the priorities of the UAE government, which has given residential neighborhoods all capabilities to create modern and sustainable units that exceed the aspirations and aspirations of citizens.

He said that the "Bateen Al Samar" residential neighborhood in Ras Al Khaimah is considered one of the distinct neighborhoods for the program.

He stressed that the completion of the residential neighborhood, in light of the challenges resulting from the effects of the "Covid-19" pandemic, demonstrates the program’s commitment to handing over projects for the citizen family on the dates specified for them, to ensure their housing stability and achieve community cohesion.

The residential neighborhood is located after exit No. 122 towards Ras Al Khaimah, and is bordered on the northwest by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street, and on the northeast by the Emirates Transit Road, which makes access to it easy and close to the rest of the Emirates.

The project - implemented in two phases - includes 960 dwellings, and was planned according to the Living Communities Standards Guide issued by the Council of Happiness and Quality of Life.

It also contains eight modern and modern residential models, according to the highest global environmental standards that raise the aspirations and aspirations of citizens, in addition to taking into account the nature of the Emirati family, by adopting the path of social residential neighborhoods.

In its first phase, the neighborhood includes 354 dwellings on an area estimated at 905 thousand square meters, in the first “Bateen Al-Samar” area, while the second phase includes two groups: the first is located in “Bateen Al-Samar”, and the second embraces 277 dwellings on an area of ​​521 thousand square meters.

The second group includes 329 dwellings, on an area of ​​780,000 square meters.
