He stated that the UN Security Council is concerned about reports of large-scale hostilities along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh. 

"Members of the UN Security Council expressed support for the UN Secretary General's call for the parties to immediately stop hostilities, reduce tensions and return to constructive negotiations without delay," Abarri said.

He also noted that the members of the Security Council urge the parties to the conflict to work closely with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in order to immediately resume the dialogue without preconditions.

Earlier, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on the parties to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh to immediately end hostilities without preconditions.
