The spokesperson for the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Prosecution at the State Prosecutor's Office stated that employees were arrested in one of the examination centers for exploiting their jobs and the powers granted to them to falsify the results of the examination of "Covid 19 disease" for a fee.

In a statement, the spokesman explained that within the framework of the efforts made by the state authorities to combat the emerging corona disease "Covid 19" and limit its spread and follow up on the commitment of citizens and residents to the instructions decided by the competent authorities, the Dubai Police General Command has seized employees working in one of the examination centers and referred them to the Emergency and Crisis Prosecution And disasters for exploiting the powers granted to them to falsify the results of the Covid 19 disease examination for some people for a fee by using images of negative examination samples previously preserved in the database belonging to other uninfected persons, and for the purpose of using negative examination results to enter the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

He said that the actions of the two defendants constitute crimes whose punishments amount to temporary imprisonment and a fine of not less than one hundred and fifty thousand dirhams and not exceeding seven hundred and fifty thousand dirhams, and that legal measures have been taken before the aforementioned and the State Attorney General ordered their precautionary detention pending investigations.

The spokesman affirmed that the Public Prosecution will take legal measures against anyone who does not abide by the laws, procedures and precautionary measures related to limiting the spread of "Covid 19" disease or who tries to exploit his job and the powers granted to him to tamper with the results of the examination or profit from them, in order to protect the health and safety Individuals of the UAE community and support government efforts in the country to contain the repercussions of the "Covid 19" pandemic and limit its effects on various aspects of health, economic and social life.
