Yesterday, the Pakistani government announced that primary schools will be allowed to resume school, starting this morning, after reviewing the situation of the "Covid-19" disease caused by the emerging corona virus in the country.

The "Geo News" TV news network quoted Federal Education Minister Mahmoud Shafqat as saying after attending a meeting at the National Command Operations Center that the decision to reopen schools was taken unanimously.

The Minister of Education assured the students' parents that the government took the measure after conducting a thorough search and inspection.

Work in universities and colleges and students of the ninth and tenth grades was resumed on September 15, while students of sixth, seventh and eighth grades returned to classes on the 22nd of the same month, after a six-month hiatus.

On the other hand, the latest statistics from Johns Hopkins University indicated that the number of HIV infections in Pakistan has risen to 311,516 cases, while the number of deaths related to the virus has reached 6,474 cases.
