  Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Abdulayeva stated in a statement that on September 27, the Armenian armed forces severely violated the ceasefire system and violated the standards and principles of international law and opened fire on civilians.

10 civilians died and 30 were injured.

Two students were among the dead.

On September 28, local time, in Nagorno-Karabakh (Naka area), the local village was shelled during the Ya-A conflict, some houses were damaged, and civilians were injured or killed in the incident.

  According to previous reports, a new round of conflict broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Naka region on the 27th. Both sides accused the other of violating the ceasefire agreement and taking the lead in launching a military offensive. The conflict caused more than 100 casualties.

  On September 27th, President Aliyev of Azerbaijan signed a decree declaring that the country has entered a state of war and imposing martial law across the country.

Armenia said that it is preparing for a long war.

  The Naka region is located in southwestern Azerbaijan, and its residents are mostly Armenians.

After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Azerbaijan and Armenia broke out in a battle for Nagorny, and Armenia occupied Nagorny and its surrounding parts of Azerbaijan.

In 1994, Azerbaijan and Armenia reached an agreement on a comprehensive ceasefire, but the two countries have been in a state of hostility due to the Naka issue, and armed conflicts between the two countries have occurred from time to time.
