The large-scale battle over Nagorno-Karabakh, the dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the former Soviet Union, has entered its third day on the 29th.

Between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the former Soviet Union, a large-scale battle over the Armenian-rich Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region reignited on the 27th.

The battle continued on the 29th, the third day, and according to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, it destroyed two Armenian tanks.

On the other hand, the Armenian army is responding by strengthening the artillery fire against the Azerbaijani army.

The combined death toll in combat to date has reached 98, including 14 civilians.

In response to the worsening situation, UN Secretary-General António Guterres held telephone talks with Azerbaijan's President Aliev and Armenia's Prime Minister Pasignan on the 29th.

According to Russia's Interfax news agency, Secretary-General António Guterres expressed concern to both sides, immediately stopped the fighting, and resumed the previous peace process jointly mediated by the United States, France and Russia. It means that he requested that he do it.

However, there are no signs that the fighting will end after the telephone talks, and there are concerns that the number of victims will increase further.
