The licensing authority in Boston, USA, decided to close the famous Turkish chef, Nusrat Gökçe, after two inspections, only one week after the opening.

According to press reports, the restaurant failed on 9 points, including two very warm refrigerators, lack of space between hand washing and food storage areas, and incorrect temperatures for dishwashers, during the first inspection on September 23.

The Boston Licensing Board has closed Nusr-Et Steakhouse, the third restaurant location in the United States for chef and founder Nusret Salt Bae Gökçe, until it addresses several violations issued by the Department of Inspectional Services, one week after its grand opening.

The council report also indicated that the person in charge of the restaurant does not oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure that the establishment operates in accordance with US food law.

The next day, inspectors returned again to review the points where the restaurant had fallen, and found that all problems had been resolved, except for the temperature issue in dishwashers.
