Scenic spots have raised tourist reception limits

The National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival "Double Festival" holiday is approaching, and public travel will also usher in a peak.

China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. said on the 28th that the railway transportation will start on the 28th during the National Day holiday.

From September 28 to October 8, the national railway is expected to send 108 million passengers, an average of 9.82 million passengers per day.

October 1st is the peak of passenger flow. It is estimated that 13 million passengers will be sent, which will set a new high in the daily average passenger flow of railways since the outbreak of the epidemic.

In order to meet the needs of tourists visiting and receiving scenic spots during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has recently adjusted the number of tourists received in scenic spots from no more than 50% of the maximum carrying capacity to 75%.

With the relaxation of the current limit policy, scenic spots in various places have increased the tourist reception limit.

On September 28, Huashan Scenic Area issued the "Announcement on the Limits of Tourist Reception for National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival Holidays". During the festival, the maximum daily passenger flow of Huashan Scenic Area is limited to 20,000 people. Among them, the team makes reservations for no more than 4,000 people per day.

Starting from September 28, the maximum daily capacity of Huangshan Scenic Area to receive tourists into the mountains has increased from 25,000 to 37,500.

Among them, 33,750 people are in the South Gate and 3,750 people are in the North Gate.

Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes has adjusted the maximum single-day limit of each ticket type to 75% of the normal carrying capacity from September 25. The sales volume of A-type tickets (digital movie + 8 physical caves) is 4,500 per day, B Class tickets (4 physical caves) are sold at 9,000 tickets per day. Tickets for popular scenic spots such as the Forbidden City are hard to find

The 8-day Super Golden Week also inspired the enthusiasm of the people to travel.

At present, some scenic spots have become difficult to find, and holiday tickets for popular scenic spots such as the Forbidden City have been sold out.

A reporter from Chinanews.com logged on to the official website of the Palace Museum and found that the tickets for the Palace Museum from October 1st to October 8th were all sold out.

The Class A tickets for Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes from October 1 to October 8 have also been sold out.

The sparkling sea in Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan will be reopened before National Day. Currently, Jiuzhaigou has a single-day current limit of 17,000 people. Tickets for October 2 to October 4 have been sold out.

According to the Meituan Ticket Difficulty Index, the Palace Museum, Xi'an Museum, and Shaanxi History Museum are among the top three difficult to book scenic spots.

Tickets for these scenic spots are in short supply during the Golden Week.

"No appointment, no travel"

The "double festival" holiday is still "no outing without appointment".

Shan Gangxin, deputy director of the Resource Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, said on the 27th that for tourist attractions, under the premise of coordinating epidemic prevention and control, the focus is on orderly opening and booking tours.

At present, scenic spots in various places are promoting the implementation of an appointment system in accordance with the requirements of “limited, appointment, and peak shifting”.

Up to now, in addition to some open ticket-free scenic spots, 264 scenic spots in the country's 280 5A-level tourist attractions have established and implemented a time-sharing reservation system, accounting for about 94% of the total number of 5A-level scenic spots.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism also reminded tourists to understand and inquire about measures such as epidemic prevention and control, opening, ticket reservations, and passenger flow restrictions in tourist attractions in advance, so as to achieve "no appointment and no travel".

Therefore, you must book the scenic spot tickets in advance to avoid a trip in vain.

In addition, we must also pay attention to personal protection, and pay attention to whether it meets the destination's epidemic prevention and control requirements.

For example, Huashan Scenic Area requires all tourists to register with the Shaanxi Health Code before purchasing tickets. Tourists with a green health code can book tickets, and tourists with yellow and red codes cannot book tickets.

Huangshan Scenic Area also requires that visitors must present the successful booking information or the ID card matching the information, pass the health code verification, and pass the temperature test before they can transfer to the scenic area.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism stated that it will guide A-level tourist attractions to strengthen the management of key nodes such as entrances and exits, health code scanning areas, and important tourist spots, and do a good job in tourist guidance and control to prevent instantaneous gathering of people.

On September 26, 2020, Beijing Qianmen Street was full of tourists.
