National alarms were issued in February after two military vehicles of the type Galten, valued at one million kronor each, were stolen from the Armed Forces' command regiment in Enköping.

During the days that followed, they were found outside Västerås and Sala, one parked in a residential area and the other was dumped in the terrain.

Two men in their 30s were arrested and detained for the theft, but were released after a couple of weeks.

Thereafter, the investigation grew to eight suspects.

On Monday, Lena Jansson brought charges against the group, which includes a reality soap celebrity and is suspected of gross illegal use - that is, that he is to have gone with one of the stolen Boars.

- At first we thought he had a bigger part in the theft itself, and since he was in the middle of a TV production, it became difficult to get an interrogation without it being revealed that he was a suspect, says Lena Jansson.

Special investigation

The prosecutor's evidence file contains, in addition to DNA analyzes, telephone lists and a Snapchat picture of one of the vehicles.

What should be the motive for the theft?

- We have not found out.

No one admits that the vehicles were stolen to resell, but in one case we believe that it has happened.

That one of the vehicles was sold.

All but one in the group, one of those suspected of the theft, denies the crime.

- It is especially when so many are involved and that you are dealing with defense secrecy.

You have to be careful not to step on the wrong foot, says Lena Jansson.
