It was on Thursday that the man and the woman were arrested on suspicion of having raped a child on two occasions in Lessebo and on Friday they were both arrested.
The man is on probable cause suspected of two cases of rape against children and the woman is on probable cause suspected of aiding and abetting child rape in two cases.
- We proceed on a broad front as we do in this type of case.
We conduct a lot of interrogations with the child involved and also talk to other people around who may have seen something or reacted to something.
Then we also work with track security and IT forensic investigations, says prosecutor Pernilla Tallinger.
Denies crime
What relationship the man and the woman have together, and whether they have any relationship with the child, the prosecutor does not want to go out with.
Nor when the crimes should have been committed or how old the child is.
- I do not want to say that, so as not to disturb the ongoing investigation, more than that the child was under 15 years old at the time of the incident.

Both the man and the woman deny the crime.
