According to the verdict, the man, who is in his 70s, has committed sexual abuse against a minor girl with whom the man is related.
The abuse took place during the first half of last year both in and outside Katrineholm municipality.
The man has denied the crime, but the district court believes that there is no reasonable doubt that the man is guilty.
The man is therefore sentenced to two years and nine months in prison.
