“An indictment was brought against the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk region Andrey Levchenko.
He is charged with committing a crime under Part 4 of Art.
159 of the Criminal Code of Russia (fraud committed on an especially large scale), ”the press release says.
The damage to the Irkutsk region caused as a result of the illegal actions of Levchenko and another person involved in the case of the director of OOO Zvezda, Oleg Khamulyak, is estimated at more than 185 million rubles.
Searches were carried out at the place of residence and work of Levchenko, as well as at his father, the former governor of the Irkutsk region Sergey Levchenko.
Earlier, Levchenko was detained on suspicion of fraud.
