Deputy Mayor of Evpatoria placed under house arrest

The deputy mayor and his accomplices - the current and former deputy director of the capital construction department of the city administration - were charged under Part 6 of Art.

290 of the Criminal Code of Russia.

"They received a bribe in the amount of over 10.5 million rubles by wire transfer to the bank accounts of affiliated companies," the UK said.

It is noted that the defendants admit guilt in the crime, in connection with which the court chose them a preventive measure in the form of house arrest. 

Earlier, a bribery case was opened against the deputy head of the Volgodonsk administration.
