Sunday, around 6.30 p.m., the Loroux-Bottereau gendarmerie brigade was called in for a rather special flight.

They are called to a place called Malakoff in Saint-Julien-de-Concelles (Loire-Atlantique) to note a theft of goats in a field, reports, this Monday, the company of departmental gendarmerie of Rezé.

The perpetrator (s) entered the field by cutting a first fence giving access to an enclosure whose wire mesh was cut over its entire height.

In the enclosure, three goats (one black, one black and white and one ecru) were stolen.

Nothing on horses

Sheep farmers have been facing a significant increase in sheep and goats for several months.

More than 350 animals have been stolen in Loire-Atlantique since January.

The majority of cases go unresolved.

Small clarification: to access the enclosure, the thieves of Saint-Julien-de-Concelles went through a field where there were three horses.

Which have not been injured.

“They probably did not interest the authors,” concludes the Rezé departmental gendarmerie company.

A complaint will be filed by the owner.
