At 23.12, several people alerted the police about a shooting on Docentgatan in Malmö.
Once on the scene, the police found a gunshot wounded man.
He has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The site has been cordoned off for technical investigation and the police are trying to get an idea of what has happened.
No person has been arrested.
