In Mali, the president of the transition Bah N'Daw signed a decree appointing the prime minister.

It is the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Moctar Ouane who is appointed to the post of head of government.

Two days after the swearing-in ceremony of transitional president Bah N'Daw, Mali knows its civilian prime minister.

This is Moctar Ouane, 64, former ambassador (1995-2002) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (2004-2009) was appointed this Sunday, September 27.
