A fine mist waters the land of the Anono chiefdom where one of the meetings of the opposition coalition is being held.

All opposition sensitivities, with the exception of the independent candidate Kouadio Konan Bertin, called a few days ago for mobilization to demand the dissolutions of the two institutions responsible for organizing and validating the electoral process: the Electoral Commission independent (CEI) and the Constitutional Council, as well as the withdrawal of Alassane Ouattara's candidacy.

The participants, activists and executives of the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI), the Democratic Party of Côte d'Ivoire (PDCI) or even the Generations and People of Solidarity (GPS), protect themselves under white arbors.

In front of the stage, a great void.

The attendance is low, but Diack Gassama, part of Générations Populaires Solidaires, the movement of Guillaume Soro, explains that this is a first attempt before other calls for mobilization: "

The right symbol Remember today is that we say no to the exclusion of the candidates Laurent Gbagbo, Guillaume Soro, and also that we demand the dissolution of this CEI which is not credible.

 "

To animate the gathering, the artists followed one another all morning in the presence in particular of the PDCI mayor of Cocody, Jean-Marc Yacé or the deputy secretary general of the FPI César Etou.

Some activists also wear a T-shirt on which is written the message "United to save the Ivory Coast", accompanied by portraits of the two former presidents, side by side, Laurent Gbagbo (FPI) and Henri Konan Bédié (PDCI ): “

Since 1999, Côte d'Ivoire has only been living through war.

And so, for there to be a change, today the opposition is coming together.

We want the reconciliation of Ivorians.

 "

Flop or start of a long protest movement?

The presidential election is due in 35 days.
