On September 27, local time, China and South Korea held a handover ceremony for the remains of the seventh batch of Chinese People's Volunteers in South Korea in Incheon, South Korea.

A total of 117 martyrs' remains and 1,368 related relics were handed over this time, which were excavated by the South Korean army in the demilitarized zone from March to November 2019.

This is the first time that South Korea transferred the remains of more than 400 volunteers to China in 2014, and the largest number of remains was transferred to China in recent years.

From 2014 to 2019, South Korea has transferred the remains of 599 Chinese People’s Volunteers to China for six consecutive years.

This year, due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the handover ceremony of the remains was postponed to September.

70 years ago, the Chinese People's Volunteers fought bloody battles across the Yalu River to defend their homes and the country, and many heroes lay down in a foreign country.

That year, they pledged to defend our hometown to the death; today, let us take the volunteer martyrs home together!

Mountains and rivers are fine, heroes, please go home!
