The bride who ran aground at Styrsö had to go out on the open sea again on Saturday night. But it took two rescue attempts to be able to release the huge shark. The underwater pictures show how the giant fish got stuck in the bottom mud, and could not get away until the Coast Guard and local locals helped with towing power and boats. - We had to fight something terrible to be able to release it, says Björn Källström, marine biologist who participated in the rescue operation.
It was not a small fish that swam aground at Styrsö on Saturday.
The bridge, which belongs to the world's second largest fish species, got stuck in mud and needed the help of boats and people to get loose.
