US President Donald Trump on Sunday reiterated his request that his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, conduct a "doping test" before or after their debate on Tuesday.
Trump said in a tweet on the social networking site "Twitter": "I will strongly demand that a doping test be conducted for a sleepy Joe Biden before or after the debate on Tuesday night."
He continued, "Of course, I will agree to one measure as well. His performance in the debates was uneven in standard terms, only stimulants could cause this contradiction ??", without his accusation attributing to his opponent any concrete evidence.
At the end of last month, Trump called for a "doping test" before his debate with Biden, questioning whether the Democratic candidate's performance in his debates at the time was normal.
In response to a question about whether there is any evidence to support this accusation, Trump said at the time: "All I can say is that I am good at discovering this kind of thing."
