It was earlier this year that a 50-year-old man was arrested by police in the Umeå area after a patrol confronted the man in a car.

During a conversation with the 50-year-old, the police began to suspect that the man was under the influence of drugs.

The patrol physically searched him and also conducted a house search.

Found thousands of tablets

In the man's home, a variety of drug-classified preparations were found, including in an empty matyogurt jar and in a number of spice jars.

A backpack with hundreds of tablets, similar to those in the home, was found in an attic.

In total, the police seized almost 2,000 different tablets and doping substances.

The man is now suspected of drug offenses on several charges. Among other things for possession, storage and use. The 50-year-old has admitted in interrogation possession for his own use but believes that the tablets found in the attic are not his.
