This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran.
His words were published on the website of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
“Preliminary analysis suggests that most likely the plane caught the ground with its wing,” Taran said.
According to him, the black box is still on the plane, after analyzing the information recorded on it, conclusions can be drawn.
Taran also said that the plane was controlled by an instructor pilot.
He added that, according to a preliminary assessment of experts, there was a failure in one of the sensors of the left engine of the aircraft.
Earlier, the state commission to investigate the crash of the An-26 plane in the Kharkiv region began work at the crash site.
