The Blue House held a standing committee of the National Security Council yesterday evening (25th) and decided to request an additional investigation from North Korea on the murder of an officer in the fishing industry.



The Blue House said at a meeting held yesterday evening, presided over by the head of the National Security Office, Seo Hoon, that it had decided to ask North Korea to conduct further investigations and, if necessary, to request a joint investigation with North Korea.



The Blue House said that it has decided to continue investigating and clarifying the facts because there is a difference between the course of the incident revealed in the notice that North Korea sent yesterday and the judgment of our intelligence.



The Blue House also announced that it has decided to take urgent measures to further strengthen surveillance and alertness in the west sea to prevent such a recurrence.
