President Trump Nominates Conservative Barrett as Federal Supreme Court Justice September 27, 6:15

With the US presidential election approaching a little over a month later, President Trump has appointed a conservative judge, Amy Barrett, to replace the liberal Judge Ginsburg of the Supreme Court, who died this month.

Barrett is a female judge in the Federal Court of Appeals, the High Court, and is known for her criticism of abortion and gun control.

If Barrett is approved by the Senate, conservatives will be six out of nine Supreme Court judges who make the final judicial decision on the issue of dividing society.

For this reason, the opposition Democratic Party insisted that the next president should appoint a judge in response to the result of the presidential election.
