"In 2023, compared to 2019, the production of computers, electronic and optical products is expected to increase by 20.8%," the ministry's forecast for 2021 and the planning period 2022-2023 says.
In addition, by 2023 in Russia it is predicted that the production of machinery and equipment will grow by 7.9% in comparison with the data of 2019.
The Ministry of Economic Development also said that electricity consumption in Russia by the end of 2020 will decrease by 3.6% against the background of last year's warm winter and restrictions related to the coronavirus.
