In the middle of a night shift, Marie was assaulted, tied up and dragged into a car by one of the older boys at the accommodation.

Only one other colleague was present at the time, but he was sleeping in a room at the other end of the corridor.

- I did not know what would happen.

He had said he would kill me if I made a sound.

I was terribly scared, she says.

Marie was eventually released at a roadside in the middle of the night and survived without physical injuries.

But she is still living with the mental wounds.

- I have had difficulty concentrating and difficulty sleeping and do not like being among people anymore at all.

"I felt really lonely"

Sara, whose real name is something else, works as a social secretary.

Two years ago, she began receiving repeated threats from a family whose children had been taken into care.

- They called on my private phone and said I was a whore, that I was ugly and would fit me.

Sara also received a text message where the sender had written down her children's age, name and which school they went to.

They also hijacked her identity and tried to borrow in her name.

It came to a point when she did not know if she could continue working, but despite that she did not feel that she received any support from her employer.

- There is a culture in the social services that the responsibility is placed with the individual.

I felt suspicious and very lonely, as if it was my fault.

She also believes that there were no routines for dealing with this type of event.

- If there is a death threat, you know that this must be reported.

But when it becomes like this, like terror, then they do not know what to do, she says.

Resigned due to threats

Filippa, also anonymous, has also had to endure threats during her years at the National Board of Health and Welfare.

But after a specific child care investigation, they became of a more serious nature.

- It was from that he would pick up my children at school because "I took theirs", to that he sympathized with Breivik and wanted to go into the social services office and shoot me and my colleagues who had the case.

Filippa felt that it was no longer sustainable for her to continue working at her workplace.

- It no longer worked when there was a threat to my family, she says.
