The National Payment Card System (NSPK) told that recipients of child benefits “need to apply to the MFC with an application to change bank details for this payment if you have not submitted such an application or provided the details of your Mir card before.

The message says that the recipient of pensions or other payments from the Pension Fund, "must submit an application to the Pension Fund at the place of registration."

The NSPK reported that they plan to transfer to the Mir card, firstly, pensions and other social payments from the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, and secondly, various payments for children: one-time benefits for pregnancy and childbirth, for registration in early pregnancy, at the birth of a child;

monthly - for childcare, for children aged three to seven years, for the third child and subsequent children, and the like.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, speaking to members of the Federation Council, said that pensions in Russia will be indexed by 6.3% in 2021. 

Vice-Rector of the Financial University under the Government of Russia, Alexander Safonov, commented in an interview with the Economics Today FBA on the indexation of pensions in 2021.
