September 26, 2020 Murder-suicide tonight in Venaria, a town near Turin. A 46-year-old man killed his wife in the street, shooting her with an illegally held gun, which he used a few minutes later in his home to commit suicide.
The couple, according to preliminary information, was separating.
The 41-year-old woman died instantly after being shot by her partner, who was confined to a wheelchair, in front of the parking lot of their house. A few minutes later the man took his own life with the same weapon, shooting himself in the temple inside his home.
The couple's two children have been staying for a few days at their maternal grandparents' home, where the woman had also moved.
