Toulon dominated the English Leicester (34-19) on Saturday in the semi-final of the European Rugby Challenge, thanks to tests from Bryce Heem, Facundo Isa and a double from Gabin Villière.

The Tigers had however reacted through Nemadi Nadolo and the Australian Harry Potter.

The RCT is back in the final of the European Challenge for the third time in its history after 2010 and 2012. In the final on October 16, the Var will find the English from Bristol who beat Bordeaux-Bègles (37-20) on Friday evening.

The meeting left very quickly on Saturday evening.

After a first penalty passed by the English international George Ford, the Toulonnais replied before the first ten minutes.

Thanks to a ball snatched by Sergio Parisse, the New Zealand center Bryce Heem went on trial after a race of more than 40 meters (8th).

The Patrice Collazo men did it again a few minutes later.

After an excellent + contest +, the 24-year-old winger Gabin Villière, already excellent in the quarterfinals, played with three English defenders to add a second try (20th).

Overtaken in all areas of the game, the English ended up finding the resources to react before the break thanks to the former Fijian winger from Montpellier, Nemani Nadolo, perfectly found on his wing (37th).

Despite a new penalty from Ford after half-time, Argentinian third row Facundo Isa, who came into play a few minutes earlier, put his teammates back in the lead with another try (59th).

In their momentum, the Toulonnais added five new points thanks to Villière who scored a double, well served by the Australian Duncan Paia'aua (66th).

The English still reacted at the end of the match thanks to a test at the end of the line from Harry Potter (75th) which will not change anything at the end of the meeting.
