Close a "cafeteria" in Al Ain after 7 violations of "threatening consumers' health"

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority issued a decision to administratively close the "Al-Nawara Cafeteria" facility in Al-Shuwaib, Al-Ain, which holds the commercial license number CN-1113189, due to its violation of Law No. (2) of 2008 regarding food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the legislation issued in accordance with it, as well as for its danger to public health .

The authority explained that the food control report stated that the administrative closure decision came as a result of the establishment practicing grocery activities without obtaining a no-objection certificate, in violation of the laws and legislation issued by the authority, as the law requires food establishments to obtain a non-objection certificate to practice the activity from the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority This is in order for the authority to implement food safety requirements on it and to ensure the safety of all foodstuffs and not expose them to the risk of pollution and threaten the health of consumers.

The authority indicated that the inspectors direct the owner of the facility to the necessity to fulfill the requirements of non-objection and the mandatory procedures for practicing food activity, and over a period of five months seven violations were issued, the last of which was on September 15, but the observations were not fulfilled, and therefore the administrative suspension order was decided to continue.
