At 20:50 on September 25, local time, an An-26 military aircraft crashed near Kharkov in eastern Ukraine.
There were 28 people on board at that time. At least 25 people were confirmed dead and 2 people were seriously injured. The search for other possible survivors is still ongoing.
In addition to the crew, there were cadets from the Ukrainian Kharkov Air Force School on board.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that the plane crashed on landing while the plane was undergoing flight training.
