Demonstrations took place in Egypt for the sixth consecutive day in the governorates of Giza, Damietta and Minya, condemning the deteriorating economic conditions and demolishing homes, in response to calls under the slogan "Friday of Rage".

The sources reported that tight security reinforcements were deployed in the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria and Suez, and the Egyptian government closed the highway in Cairo for two days.

In a new recording published on his Facebook page, Muhammad Ali said that the demonstrators, during the past days in various Egyptian villages and governorates, gave the courage to large groups of the Egyptian people to demonstrate forcefully against the policies of the Egyptian authority during today's demonstrations.
