25 September 2020The lawyer Luigi Chiappero, Juve's legal historian, and his colleague Maria Turco presented themselves to the prosecutor's office in Perugia to meet the prosecutors who investigate the Italian exam taken by the footballer Luis Suarez at the University for Foreigners of Perugia last September 17th.

The magistrates defined a "farce" examination to allow the Uruguayan attacker to obtain Italian citizenship.

The lawyer Chiappero, head of the law firm that follows the Juventus club, according to the prosecutor would have participated in a videoconference via Google Meet, with the representatives of the University for Foreigners, to allow the attacker to take the exam.

The lawyer Maria Turco, a colleague of Chiappero, another colleague of the firm and the general director of the university, Simone Olivieri, would also participate in the same meeting.

The Turin lawyer of the Chiusano firm has in recent days clarified her position in a note after the wiretapping concerning her, denying any negotiations to circumvent the regular examination procedure.

The rector of Perugia: "I only gave advice to a friend"

As for the name of the "staff person", Oliviero guarantees: "I'll tell the magistrates".
