According to the epidemic prevention rules, gatherings and activities of 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors are prohibited.

From public events such as exhibitions and expositions to private gatherings such as weddings and class reunions, as long as the number of people exceeds the regulations, they are not allowed.

At the same time, village festivals, regional festivals, and folk conventions to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival must be held within the specified number of people.

If the government violates the epidemic prevention measures that prohibit gatherings, according to the Infectious Disease Prevention Act, a fine of up to 3 million won can be imposed.

In addition, all sports activities such as professional baseball, football and wrestling will also be played without spectators as they are now.

Public facilities such as small and medium-sized cram schools and recreation rooms can be operated under major epidemic prevention regulations such as masks and management of access lists.

For social welfare facilities and nurseries, the authorities also recommend closing.

At the same time, the indoor national and public facilities that were closed during the second phase of the social distancing policy will resume operations if the number of users is limited to less than half.

However, the Mid-Autumn Festival activities such as folk game experience and pancake making are not allowed in indoor national and public facilities.

National and public accommodation facilities will continue to interrupt operations.

In addition, densely populated national and public facilities may occur near famous tourist attractions. Each jurisdiction or local government will determine whether to suspend business.

The government will also strengthen inspections and control over the actual situation of epidemic prevention in markets, tourist attractions, and other facilities with a high possibility of crowd gathering.

On the other hand, depending on the situation of the epidemic, the metropolitan area and the non-capital area have implemented different epidemic prevention measures in some aspects.

The metropolitan area will maintain measures to prohibit the operation of 11 high-risk facilities (nightclubs, entertainment bars, KTV, indoor stand-by performance venues, etc.) within 2 weeks (September 28 to October 11).

The non-capital area will only implement a one-week (September 28 to October 4) suspension of operations for five types of facilities including entertainment venues.
