Two men were arrested on the night of Thursday to Friday, in Nîmes (Gard), with 700 cartons of cigarettes, in the trunks of two vehicles.

The sequel is more surprising: a Rolex was found on the wrist of one of the suspects.

With its serial number, the investigators found that it was the luxury watch that was stolen from the Ivorian football player Max Gradel, in 2018, said Friday in

A club press release, in 2018

While training with the TFC, Max-Alain Gradel had a gold Rolex worth several tens of thousands of euros stolen, which he had left in the locker room.

The club had even cracked a statement, referring to "the intrusion of a stranger in the locker room of the professional team."

"This person, surprised by a member of the technical staff in the locker room, did not know how to justify his presence in these places and left the Stadium in a hurry, escaping his arrest," the TFC wrote.
