Two people are charged with a serious hunting crime, suspected of having hunted wolves in Surahammar municipality on October 26, 2018.
One of the two, a business leader from Dalarna in his 70s, is together with two other people also charged with various crimes in the handling of the very potent poison carbofuran.
According to the prosecutor, these three have been more or less involved in preparation for a serious hunting crime, as they have handled the poison with the aim of killing wolves.
- This is an issue that has engaged many for a long time.
There have been many trips during the journey, but now the district court must evaluate the evidence that is invoked, says Lars Magnusson, chamber prosecutor at the National Unit for Environmental and Work Environment Objectives.
