It was Greta Thunberg's movement Friday for future that on Friday held a worldwide action day for the climate.

Fässbergsskolan's fifth-graders, who were stationed outside Mölndal's town hall to pressure politicians to follow the Paris Agreement, had carefully prepared for the day.

- They got the idea after they watched Lilla aktuellt which broadcast a feature about the school strikes last week.

They have arranged almost everything on their own and have been very committed.

Among other things, they emailed several politicians in advance so that they would come out to answer their questions, says Matilda Åhall, teacher to the students.

Made politicians sweat

But only one politician, Stefan Gustavsson (S), came out to meet the fifth graders.

- They were a little disappointed that no more came out, but they put a lot of pressure on him and made him sweat.

Afterwards, he said that he was very impressed by their questions, says Matilda Åhall.

In about 80 other places in the country, young activists gathered to demonstrate for the climate.

The requirement is a fair climate change that meets the Paris Agreement.
